The Lion King

This colorless, soulless, lifeless 'live action' remake sucks all the original charm and life out of the original and it becomes a crappy film that isn't worth watching over the original film.

Not better then the Animated classic but holds up well

The movie was good but they tried to fit in all 3 animated into 1 movie. they skipped some of the best parts of the movies. Wish that they had made this movie into 2 movies instead of 1 would have been much better.

The original animated film was better.

I believe this remake is better than the 1994 original. Rest in peace, James Earl Jones as Mufasa.

In a remake for this one, I personally think it was ok but wouldn’t really have liked the way scar sung be prepared it was just too much of him talking through the entire song then actually singing it like in the original. But the whole thing was a great one it had the original content and the original songs along with the original characters and new songs Rating: 7/10

It’s vastly superior to the cartoon, but the cartoon was good.

This movie did not capture even a minute of amount of charm as the original. I especially hated Timon and Pumbaa in this one. I mean, when you remove the hula scene, you are asking for trouble. Zazu wasn't great either. Honestly the only reason i watched is because James Earl Jones came back.
