The Lion King

They left out too many songs. The movie is longer yet fewer songs.

The live action lion king is a great movie. simba and the rest of the lion king look great as live action.

This movie lacked the original heart as well as its comedic aspects. There were many points hit that were aligned with the original but left me feeling unsatisfied and extremely disappointed.

I just watched the original and it was really good

The special effects are impressive, but this is just a soulless remake of the original. It adds nothing new or even good for that matter. And it just proves that Disney does not care about their legacy or what made them great in the first place. 'The Lion King (2019)' is proof that live-action remakes are only made for one thing and one thing only....Disney's greed.

This movie is a travesty. It's honestly embarrassing that this is what we get in 2019. The only way to enjoy this movie is if you haven't watched the original for ten years and have no memory of what a masterpiece it is. Do yourself a favor and find a disc version of this movie released before 2000 - it's a totally different world. One where films used to be good.

Probably the only good live action remake Disney ever made

While the visuals are stunning, every script change is clunky and cringe inducing. They’ve taken a near-perfect film and made it difficult to sit through five minutes without turning off.
