The Marksman
audience Reviews
, 83% Audience Score- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsA good enough Liam Neeson action movie though his age is starting to show here.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsWell filmed. Cinematography was great. Visuals well done. Liam was good. The actors all did a good job, unfortunately, the story and plot was below, below average. Full of exhausting tropes. Will anyone write a worthwhile script on the premise of hapless victims running from relentless mobsters/gangsters/cartel members/terrorists/rogue cia/corrupt cops who seem to have all the access in the world to be right on their heels? Character point: There's no such thing as an ex-Marine. Former active duty, always a Marine. Unless dishonorably discharged. A marine sharpshooter is the 2nd worst ranked shooter. Expert is top level. And then there are Snipers. Different breed, different training. The lead character's background was totally irrelevant to any of the story points so why make that a significant plot point. I would be angry if I were paid to review this junk. I'm doing it for free because I'm enraged by the loss of my time.
- Rating: 2.5 out of 5 starsThis is a pretty formulaic movie with a standard chase and evade storyline. The villains response to people in the US and short explanation about how they did not have choices in life was a thread they should have pulled more.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsSuccessful Liam Neeson action movie in 1 hour and 47 minutes. Rated PG-13 for Some Bloody Images, Brief Strong Language and Violence!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsVery good movie and story telling, Liam is great and always delivers and the smell of Eastwood movies is always present. 😉
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsNot the best but still very underrated
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsWHAT A DUMB SHOW I have never taken the time to write a movie review but wow what has happened to Hollywood. I saw a trailer on tik tok and paid $3.99 to rent it. What a waste of Money! KAthryn Winnick is in it and she of course was horrible in Big Sky but where do I start, She could never be a real cop let alone a ranking Border Patrol Agent and nobody is going to burn money in a campfire even if it is supposedly cartel money. Just soooo bad,
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsAn intense action flick with more than a few heartfelt moments thrown in for good measure.
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsI was pretty disappointed especially because I expected a better story with Liam starring. I should have paid more attention to the critics reviews instead of giving in to the much higher audience reviews. Skip this one folks. Terrible ending too since there were so many open issues: Cartel wouldn’t have ever stopped and no hint what the future holds for others.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsI lost track of how many times I rolled my eyes. It also hit so many clichés I lost track of them too. I'm not gonna lie. I couldn't finish it when they started burning hundred dollar bills for a guy who can't pay His mortgage I did one last eye roll and I was out. When he went to the grocery store to buy food, he should've bought some Trix. And I could at least have had a laugh
