CGI overkill looked bad in the day. Overrated franchise and a boring sequel.

Previously of The Matrix. Well, if you think it can't get any worse for The Matrix getting the fourth film after the ending of The Matrix Revolutions, you are solely mistaken. I can only come to know what know what to expect from the fourth one but I haven't seen it but I know it will be s**t but let's get on with the supposedly final film of the trilogy as I said today, The Matrix Revolutions. After the events of Reloaded, Neo and Bane still lie unconscious in the medical bay of the ship Mjolnir. Inside the Matrix, Neo is trapped in a subway station named Mobil Ave, a transition zone between the Matrix and the machine world. He meets a "family" of programs, including a girl named Sati. The "father" tells Neo the subway is controlled by the Trainman, a program loyal to the Merovingian. When Neo tries to board a train with the family, the Trainman refuses and overpowers him. Seraph contacts Morpheus and Trinity on behalf of the Oracle, who informs them of Neo's confinement. They enter Club Hel, where they confront the Merovingian and force him to release Neo. Troubled by visions of the Machine City, Neo visits the Oracle, who reveals that Smith intends to destroy both the Matrix and the real world. She tells him, "everything that has a beginning has an end." On the bahalf of Jurassic Park 3 and Scream 3 that many don't like, I can say the same thing about this one that it is so s**t and why is it so awful about it. Hey, I might so Spider Man 3 in the near future. Hehehe. Neo didn't get enough screen time especially in a big epic battle where you don't get to see him and Trinity in it, where there's a battle between people of Zion vs the Squid machines. The war against the machines. Yeah, Terminator reference in it, no pun intended. Just like The Lord of the Rings. As a third film itself I can see why people don't like it 'cause there are moments in this that really put them off like myself for the least part. I'd still enjoy it but otherwise, who can tell? The Oracle as I know is played by a different actress because the original actress herself has passed away just two years before the second one is being released. You can tell the difference between the two Oracle's on why is she replaced 'cause the first Oracle is dead. I can convince you all that this does not surpass the likes of The Return of the King, the third Lord of the Rings movie. I know this is going to be similar with their big epic battles. I know they can try to make it better than that movie, but no. With the film being the final one out the trilogy which I'm supposed to be proud of, but NOOO, they just had to shove the ending trilogy up it's a**e by making the fourth one called The Matrix Resurrections. Oh, Dear God, I am not looking forward to this one but what else can I do? None. I'll just have to wait and see if it is s**t or not. Mostly it's s**t. I like The Matrix Revolutions for what it is but it's nothing much to it's predecessors. And with the exceptions that two sequels being released in the exact same year, it really takes it's time for you and me to watch the entire trilogy in one day. The only thing I can only remember is one thing in two films is the hand bit where someone does that with their hand before someone charges up to them but that only happened like only once. I know the first one did it multiple times but the last two did it only once which is quite a step back. So with that being said of the entire trilogy which I did finally, I'm just gonna have to leave it there as it is. So I enjoyed the entire Matrix. The Trio are great and I don't think I can say the same thing about Resurrections so if I enjoyed the fourth one, it's not going to be garbage. If it is then screw The Matrix Resurrections. Tut-tut-tut.

This movie was more about the special effects than the characters and plot.

Buena analogía de la colaboración interclasista, mala decisión de Neo

Doesn't tell much of a story, and the fighting is much more lackluster and boring than the matrix reloaded. A good-enough ending to the story.

I’ve watched this Trilogy a number of times. Love the story and characters, but this one let me down a bit.
The script was not as good and the special effects were good not great.
Think they should have spent more time developing the script and less time doing whatever it was that they were doing.
But, at least it is 10 times better than Resurrections. That one was absolutely horrible.

A lot of the negative reviews under this film in rottentomatoes are clearly not reviewing this particular film in the franchise and that’s just sad because many people may just skip it because of the bad reviews - I’ll strongly advise against it.
I know many smart people who didn’t understand the whole concept even after watching the trilogy more than once - and it’s alright. Not everyone like things that challenge them.
This movie explains the Matrix in much more detail - how and why things are the way they are in the Matrix, the man vs the machines aspect which is the core to the movie, the depth of characters - especially Neo, Trinity and Smith.
Once you watch all three movies (intentionally skipping Resurrections) - you’ll see it for what it really is - genius!! GENIUS!!!

Great fun. Not as good as the original but entertaining and enjoyable.
