The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare
audience Reviews
, 91% Audience Score- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsPretty "coooool". Lots of coooool shoting with lots of baaaad Germans falling down. But, it is based on a true story. So, therefore, watch it!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsPhenomenal in every way - this has easily become one of my favorite movies!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsGuy Ritchie movies never fail to be enjoyable.
- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsWe’ve watched this movie three times and always enjoy it. Certainly there’s a lot of creative freedom included with the final production of any historical story being told. However, I’m venturing to guess most Americans never knew this “Ministry” existed during WWII. Kudos to Damien Lewis for writing the book, and kudos to all others involved in making this unknown piece of history fun to learn. Tried to give 5 stars…but would only allow 4.5.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI enjoyed this film so much I can't stress enough that this film is underrated I actually do wish the run time was longer just so i could get more time watching the characters. Henry and Alan were highlights for me like James Bond and a eccentric Rambo respectively!
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsWell filmed and well acted by great actors. Unfortunately the movie is a snore fest.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsVery little action. I would rather watch A Man from UNCLE. The action scenes are short and nothing new. Not even action. Just really quick shooting deaths. The rest is dumb drawn out drama on an island with people you can't understand.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsThis makes Hogan's Heroes look like Shakespeare. It's really difficult to watch movies like this that make a farce out WWII. Have some respect for history please. Making light of WWII - one can only wait for "School Shootings - the Comedy". What's the difference?
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI'm a World War 2 buff, this was a fun movie for me.
