Standard Chinese popcorn movie. Good theme music.

Wow this was so bad.like laughably bad. Also a lot of absolute cringe moments in this one (like really wow).What in the world were they thinking. The pacing is the absolute worst part of it though. It went on forever definitely not worth the watch.

Brilliant effects, beautiful eye candy, costumes, humor, and fun-loving silliness. There are some slower moments but the juicy bits more than make up for up. I don't get what caused the low ratings. Some parts of this movie are very funny. Maybe the deeper moments when spirituality conflicted with romance turned some people off? I watched it 3 times to cheer myself up after seeing 1 and 2. Cannot wait for 4,5,6. (please bring back Gong Li and Chow Yun Fat)

Amazing cast, but what a waste of a good subplot which turned into a movie. No kiss scenes, one-sided love story-line, and we rarely get to see Wukong shine.

Honestly? I'm flummoxed that the movie franchise has made it this far. It was indubitably the most egregious squandering of my time. Ever.

the movie has? steered away from the essence of the novel. I find myself unIMPRESSED WITH THE LACK OF CREATIVITY THAT WAS PUT INTO THIS MOVIE. cHILDREN ARE NOT SUITABLE TO WATCH IT.

Professional critics appear to be obviously backlashing politically via a popular boring trend involving certain cultures etc! This movie is a popcorn ?? blast! The Black Panther would find his himself in deep trouble if he had to battle against THE AWESOME MONKEY KING too much fun here! Nuff said!!!

Great movie. Laugh happily at the beginning and feel touched after all. Highly recommended ??

Brilliant adaption of the 'Journey to the West' narrative. Excellent character development along with wonderful scenery from China. The film explores love, both found and lost, as an adventure fantasy. Go and see!

Great movie and addition to the series as it was funny and entertaining. Can't wait for the next installment
