A reasonable take of faking it till you make it, and what happens to all intimately involved when things don't go as expected.

So disappointing - the ending went nowhere.

There is almost nothing that happens in this film. I kept watching and thinking the entertaining or exciting part must be soon…. It never came

Slow moving, not sure where it was headed and then it just ended without resolution. Waste of time

Stuck with the very slow pace with prolonged lingering of the camera on scenes that werent interesting enough to justify it ,hoping at some point it would move along but it never did. It was clear at the beginning of the film what the dynamics were among the characters and what the character flaws were but it just never went anywhere with it to come to some dramatic closure. From RT the critics loved it but we movie viewers not so much. The acting was good but squandered on a movie that just wasnt that good.

The acting was dramatically well performed. The plot had potential but failed to live up to it. The ending comes abruptly as it will leave you confused and regretful of your movie decision.

This movie was Shite. It was like watching paint dry.

The minimum standards of a plot with a beginning, middle, and end are not met in this film. I'm not the one to say this is a requirement, but it's notable that the film isn't better off for it. Professional reviews of this film make it sound avant-garde and subtle, but that's just as contrived as the film itself. Even as a bad film, its bad. There is literally nothing to see here, other than an English manor, a buried horse, and character arcs so plodding and runny they abandon any pretense of a geometrical shape. There are no rewards, nuggets, or discernible meanings to chew on. Just a series of ponderous settings, people, animals, and objects in those settings, and loosely linear dialogue which ultimately amounts to a very dull experience.

Two talented leads could not save this dud. I watched a good hour and still had no idea the premise. Allison the wife appears bored. Her husband Rory is a loser Grifter. The End.

Terrible movie. I can’t believe anyone would give this a 90% much less the people who do this professionally.
