The Night Before

A slow start and a little disjointed but turns out to be very funny. There is a lot of sex and drug humor, but the movie is a friendship tale at its heart. Seth Rogen is not actually the star but he is the funniest part of the movie by far. Jonathan Gordon-Levitt is the star and the straight man but his performance does not match up to Rogen's. Anthony Mackie is good as the steroid successful athlete. he is pretty funny. The supporting cast is quirky and funny. I don't love this movie but I did enjoy it. Don;t expect it to become a Christmas tradition but definitely worth watching at least once- even in June.

I generally love anything Seth Rogen is in, but after 25 minutes I couldn't take it anymore. This movie tries to be funny so desperately hard, but it all comes off cringe and flat instead. Save yourself the agony, and skip this one.

Filme mais ou menos, roteiro é mais ou menos, o elenco é bacaninha, tem cenas que tentam ser engraçadas mas não conseguem é o anthony mackie para fazer comédia é ruim, e não ajuda o filme, nem a história também.

Big fan of this film and watch it every year on Christmas Eve now. Won’t ever match up to the other films I watch in Christmas Eve but a good more adult comedy addition. Pacing is good and the moral of remaining connected to friends as you grow up and lives changed is an important one. Quite a lot of laughs as well and strong cast.

Not as good as Office Christmas Party, however it provided a few laughs.

Regular película, una cinta que es mas que nada para pasar un buen rato. Esta película es de las típicas que tenes que ver sin prestarle mucha atención a la trama y enfocarte en pasar un buen rato con los chistes y con la historia alocada que cuenta. Es una cinta entretenida que presenta a tres amigos reviviendo los viejos tiempos, pasando por varias desventuras en la ciudad de Nueva York, terminando en una fiesta muy loca. Se presentan varias tramas con los diversos protagonistas, algunas se me hicieron mas interesantes y la del personaje de Ethan no me engancho del todo. El humor (que vendría a ser lo mas importante), funciona, y si bien he visto películas que me han causado mas gracia, tampoco me parece que tenga un humor tonto y básico, ya que si me llego a causar gracia algunas veces. Por otro lado, el cast es genial y con actores de renombre, todos ellos brindan una muy buena actuación, se destacan Seth Rogen, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Anthony Mackie, Lizzy Caplan, James Franco, Michael Shannon, etc. En conclusión, se me hace una cinta con una trama muy tonta y alocada, pero a su vez bastante entretenida, con un humor que funciona y un gran cast que suma bastante a la película. La recomiendo si te gustan este tipo de cintas.

This has become a must watch in my family every year during the holidays. Absolutely hilarious and unique.
