The Nile Hilton Incident

It’s not my kind of movie but it’s worth a watch. A claustrophobic tale of crime and corruption in Cairo.

This is quite a tense and claustrophobic watch. Its the sort of film which makes you wonder what people motivations may be, or have been and it keeps you guessing. Its understandably rather grim and gritty and is a worthwhile watch overall.

Exceptional cast and a trueful story of corruption endemic in most societies.

Egyptian "Chinatown." Polanski couldn't have done it better. Superb direction, acting, writing.

Atmosphere and crude reality of the enviornment are well achieved, although plot results not very clear. As a good film noir, works as a mirror of a particular society.

sisi politik negara-negara arab emang kacau yah, dan semua negara yah pasti ada aja aparat yang korup gampang kemakan duit. tapi ini semua bukan soal itu, di film ini kaya film detektif tapi beda aja.

Nice to have a glimpse of the city of Cairo.

The best Egyptian movie I have ever seen

Les amateurs de "polar" seront très surement ravis par rapport à The Nile Hilton Incident même s'il n'est pas forcément original. L'ambiance choisie du moyen-orient est également réussie.
