The November Man

Ugh. Don’t waste your time

Um competente thriller de espionagem. Uma trama envolvente e ações boas. Para quem curte esse tipo de gênero, pode gostar muito desse filme. Apesar de alguns arcos serem mal desenvolvidos e alguns clichês do gênero, ainda é válido. Pierce Brosnan retorna muito bem ao âmbito da espionagem, mas com uma abordagem mais realista.

It wasn't the greatest spy flick ever. But it was enjoyable enough as a fantasy conspiracy who's the real bad guy kind of thing. I probably won't watch it a second time, but it was a passible way to spend a couple hours.

CIA agent Peter Devereaux is happily retired living in Switzerland. Until his ex-boss, John Hanley, shows up and tries to convince him to come back for just this one mission.... Go to Moscow and extract their agent who is deep undercover in the Russian government. The agent has a name that can indict a Russian presidential candidate. A name the CIA will kill to keep secret. Just get the agent and get out.... a simple extraction. But this mission is very personal. The agent is Devereaux's ex-lover Natalia Ulanova. "She's in trouble. Who are the good guys and who are the bad guys, And who is really is playing who. November Man is a really exciting and entertaining spy thriller. The story is clever, fast and tense, with twists and turns and betrayals. Pierce Brosnan is dark, gritty, cold and ruthless. He is a man you do not want as a enemy. He is The November Man.
