The Others

THE OTHERS finds Kidman at her most mesmerizing, carrying a chilling slow-burn thriller that builds to a twist so sharp, it leaves you breathless.

This one still holds up as one of the great supernatural thrillers. Great twist, wonderful acting, especially by the children.

The twist works and the story works that left me satisfied with the overall quality of the film but the rewatch ability is not quite up there for me.

Damn, I really didn't have any expectations about this movie. I thought this would be just a regular horror movie with a haunted house. And while it is a movie about a haunted house, the ending reveals a much darker secret. Definitely give it a shot, I enjoyed it! What would have made this movie better for me, is a scarier atmosphere overall.

The ending gives "The Sixith Sense" a run for its money.

Um plot twist maravilhoso, amei todo o enredo e ue história boaa

This film is really nicely shot with solid sound design. I really can’t complain but I will by saying that it is a little drab with lots of dark grey and dark brown. The film is very much along the lines of The Sixth Sense (1999) but with a different angle (although it does also have a familiar twist). It is not quite as good on all levels though. There are some really creepy moments and some excellent scares but this isn’t enough to make it stand-out. It is worth watching for the creepiness but sadly it is not as scary as proper horror and not as good as the similar The Sixth Sense (1999). It’s worth noting that I just prefer things set in modern times. Overall it’s entertaining but nothing outstanding at all.

Filme legal pra caralho, o roteiro é bom, gostei da atuação da nicole kidman no filme, a cena em que a velha encontra o menino no armário é muito boa e um boa assustadora, mas o que melhorou o filme foi o Plot twist que foi excelente, a nicole kidman achou que tinha fantasmas na casa, mas na verdade ela é e seus filhos eram os verdadeiros fantasmas, teve partes do filme que não estava boa, mas quando o filme focou na nicole kidman achando que tinha fanstamas, o filme deu uma engrenado,com tudo isso, eu recomendo Esse filme.
