The Retirement Plan

A totally disposable but mostly entertaining action comedy drama with a really stupid plot and a few good laughs.

The body count is super high, and it’s fun, but a child is endangered and that’s no light thing. Hats off to Nic for being the character we have always loved – himself.

This gonzo action comedy from writer/director Tim Brown plays like a homage to the early films of Guy Ritchie.

This low-budget crime-thriller quickly becomes an escapist action/comedy with Nicolas Cage improvising constantly as an old codger who must protect the granddaughter he never knew he had.

With only a few funny moments and terrible acting from the supporting cast, the escapist film can't escape from itself.

This is really quite a lot of fun... It's very violent, but it hits a sentimental sweet spot for me.

The overall plot is frustrating with too many pointless characters clogging up the screen.
