The Secret Kingdom

This movie is unbearable. The acting is no good and the effects look like their from shark boy and lava girl. I can't follow the story either. Didn't even finish the movie it was so bad.

If AI wrote and produced a fantasy, this would be it. Such juxtaposing elements and creepy AI characters. I literally felt nauseated.

I've seen some good children's films in my time but this wasn't one of them. After a slow start I was hoping it would pick up when the children entered the fantasy world but I was disappointed. Both the acting and dialogue were dire, and it got to the stage where I couldn't bear watching anymore, and walked out 15 minutes before the end.

The Secret Kingdom" is a heartwarming and enchanting film that takes viewers on an extraordinary journey alongside two young siblings, anxious Peter and his spirited sister Verity. Directed by a masterful storyteller, this movie offers a unique blend of fantasy, adventure, and profound themes that will captivate both children and adults alike.

What a refreshing and pleseant suprise, a fun, visually stunning film that still manages to touch on some deeper than expected themes; only downside is my kids now wont stop pestering me for a pet Pangolin!...

A great throwback to the classic films of my 80's childhood, my kids loved it !

It's a slow start, but it settles into what turns out to be a beautiful story with a lot of heart. The world-building and creature FX are top-notch. This film is punching way above its weight. Well worth the watch

I really wanted to give this film a try. But after watching it for 22 minutes, I couldn't endure anymore. At the beginning, there is a narrative part which I find very interesting. Because of that, I continued to watch it to the length of 22 minutes. That being said, when it reached to 22 minutes, I could bear it anymore. So, I stopped watching it. Why? Two main facts. One, thr acting is terrible. I can understand the children's acting. They are still young, so, it wouldn't be great as I have expected. But I find the parents action is also not that good. Most of the reasons why I couldn't continue to watch this film is this acting. Another thing is​ special effects which I find it has some flaws too. In the other words, not that good. Some might think that it's good but for me, sorry, it's not that good. To summarise this review, although I didn't watch it to the end, I feel like this film is not that good. Just like some people say, if you don't have anything to watch, watch it. But if you have the other film, you can skip it and watch the other films because it's not worth to watch.
