I'm amazed at the high ratings this one is getting. Constant, unalloyed violence. Not sure of the body count; probably lower than, say, John Wick, but incredibly gory. If that's what audiences want now we're in a very sad state. At various stages of the unabated killing rampage 13 (the heroine) is asked "Why" and she consistently replies "I don't know". Well, I don't know either. Various baddies ask "this is just about one boy?" and I have to ask the same question. There seems to be some kind of backstory; I say "seems" because it's not very evident or clearly established. No, a waste of my time.

Totally unrealistic and terrible storyline. Bollywood has produced better movies in the 90’s. None of it made sense. You’re telling me the same assassin failed taking down 5 men in the first 5 mins of the movie but all of a sudden can take down groups of 20? She must have a force field around her to protect her from every trained gun man, or they all just have terrible aim? Are you guys getting paid to leave good reviews? I’m genuinely concerned how it has such high ratings.

There's no easy way to start describing The Shadow Strays. This two-and-a-half-hour film is loaded with extreme violence: arms, heads, and pools of blood everywhere. It's absolute madness. Premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival, The Shadow Strays was well-received by critics, and I had been looking forward to seeing it for months. Now that I've finally finished it, I can say that it will easily be in my top 10 of the year. The film grabs you from the first few minutes with a brutal, breathtaking action sequence. Although the story might seem generic at first glance, this is not the case. The Shadow Strays avoids the typical mistakes of many action movies by offering us a deep and meaningful plot. Here the characters suffer, and every action has real consequences. The performances are exceptional, conveying a sense of realism in every scene. The cinematography is spectacular, with stunning visuals, like a scene set in a forest that is visually dazzling. The colors are perfectly adjusted for each moment, and both the costumes and the sets are glorious. From a technical point of view, everything is impeccably taken care of. Every detail is meticulously crafted to offer a unique visual experience. The characters, both main and secondary, are well developed. Throughout the film, there is a flashback that leaves us intrigued until the end, fully revealing the arc of Agent 13/Nomi. This narrative device is used effectively, keeping us connected to the story and its characters. While watching The Shadow Strays, I couldn't help but notice similarities to John Wick and Kill Bill. The film takes the best of both and adapts it to its own style, with over-the-top action sequences in the best sense of the word. The violence here is so stylized that it is fascinating, and the fight scenes are a spectacle in themselves. Honestly, I didn't find many negative aspects in this movie. I enjoyed it from beginning to end. Just when you think it's all over, the action keeps going and going, keeping you on the edge of your seat. In short, The Shadow Strays is a film with brilliant performances, a story that although it may seem generic, has a lot of depth, and visually it is a gem. But who really steals the show is the character of Agent 13, played by Aurora Ribero, who offers us a bloodbath for two and a half hours. CRAZY!

Maybe, the most absurd movie I have ever seen. The action is good, but a teenage girl kicking the crap out of 500 die hard criminals....LOL. Nah!

The Shadow strays - slightly tongue in cheek? Some interesting (and interesting wobbly) camera work. Is it strange to have a certain expectation of a particular type of filum? Do the bits of wood have a meaning outside in the snow? Probs a good theme b.utt got a bit bored, read me book b.utt and played games. Sure it was ok, b.utt got bored. 1 16 left and dint see the point of continuing. Got bored b.utt. unfinished ... for the mo. Gave me headache. Appreciate it must have taken much time and effort to do so many action scenes, b.utt, got bored and again with a headache. 2/3.11.24 6.5/0. D.B.
