- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsGood clean movie an a love story.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsInspirational to the core. Loved it.
- Rating: 2.5 out of 5 starsgood christian drama
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsOne of the more preferable indie productions to be released that year, The Song modernizes the all too familiar Christian themed scenario into a lively musical with decent performances.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsThe Song is a romantic musical drama. There are two things that are very important to make a movie like this work. The first one is that there's good chemistry between the two main actors - Alan Powell and Ali Faulkner - that you believe in them as people. The second one is that you like the music just as much as the people in the movie do. The problem for me is that I didn't believe in the characters. I didn't believe in the love story. Things happened way too fast for me to see the love they once had. I also didn't really like the music in the movie which kind of destroyed the whole experience for me. I'm kind of disappointed. I was hoping for so much more.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsCheap, cult-based story. Couldn't watch it all to be honest (life's too short!). This is for the deeply Christian believer who loves the Bible being quoted to her/him as the story unfolds. Leave it for Sunday School!
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsGreat musical performances and good faith based story about getting lost on the way and finding yourself again
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsA bit sappy, but ok.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsThis film explores temptation and marital fidelity. The performances were outstanding. The music and singing were good, too.
