, 76% Audience Score- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsThis is an interesting and fresh take on the teen film, but it's main downfall is it's ultimate lack of heart that makes the depressing and naturalistic aspects of this film come off dry and lifeless instead of emotional. Though it has plenty of interesting ideas, good dialogue, and Miles Teller gives a wonderful performance, I like this film more in concept than execution.
- Rating: 2.5 out of 5 starsMiles Teller is a great actor. He carries this film and he has a lot of charisma. I liked how it handled its characters and felt the ending was honest with what was happening, even if it was not a happy ending. A well done movie that was fine watching once. Not sure if it is a film I would watch again.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsFilme: O Maravilhoso Agora Assistido: 26-12-24 Elenco: @miles.teller @shailenewoodley @brielarson @mary_elizabeth @the.kyle.chandler @thejenniferjasonleigh Modelo: #romance #comédia Duração: 1h 35m Ano: 2013 Minha opinião: Ver este filme foi um dejavu pra minha adolecencia. Vale apena assistir? Sim com certeza. Nota: 7,5
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsThe whole absent father trope where Sutter thinks his dad’s a great guy, only to meet him and go, "Oh no! My dad’s an alcoholic loser, I’m doomed!" was so cliché it hurt. Sutter is the worst protagonist ever, and his "romance" with Aimee had bad chemistry. Honestly, Brie Larson’s character had more purpose at the craft services table than in this movie. I would give this 1 star, but the production and acting isn’t THAT bad. But please don’t waste your time on this movie.
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsThe plot is cliche and the ending is predictable, but the acting and production is great. It's a good movie, but not as good as everyone seems to think that it is
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsReally solid romantic drama. The performances are great, however, for it's short runtime it still feels a little slow.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsTried to find an innovation. However, it seemed to me not very different from all the other movies focusing on a similar American teenager life.
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsThis was a great film that had many great themes to it. I can’t put my finger on what was missing but that’s nitpicking.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsOne of the best Shailene Woodley's movies on her youth.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsA charming mess. Gets to the thpical dark night of the soul moment and then… ends. He is a drunk. She is a doormat. No one grows. Third act is a disaster.
