The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie

This movie represents SpongeBob’s glory days. It is the only SpongeBob movie that feels like an actual SpongeBob movie, and, this movie has some amazing and hilarious moments. I recommend people see this absolute cinema.

Se nota el cariño del creador de la serie al hacer está película. Esta cinta es una gran aderiente a la serie, dándole un digno cierre (al menos eso era lo planeado). Obviamente no podían poner a Bob Esponja y Patricio haciendo tonterías a cualquier rato, así que le dieron una buena historia. Bob esponja al ser considerado solo un chico para no poder tener un gran puesto en el crustáceo cascarudo, lo lleva a un viaje con Patricio para recuperar la corona del rey neptuno y demostrar que no es un chico, obviamente está historia suena un poco boba, pero la verdad prefiero mil veces está historia a la de varias películas actuales. Y es que con ese concepto logran llevarlo muy bien con chistes clásicos de la serie y desarrollando no de manera tan elaborada pero muy bien lograda a Bob esponja, comprendiendo que no solo es un chico y con la canción “Soy un Cacahuate” lo demuestra sacando todo lo que siente y es por eso que esa escena es muy épica por lo que por lo menos para mí es muy buena la película y buena aderiente a la serie (al menos a las primeras temporadas, hechas por Stephen Hillenburg)

This is the best hour and a half movie I’ve seen so far I’d recommend watching this movie 5 stars!

Over 20 years later, this classic still holds up. It's fun to break this out every couple years on March 14th, the day crab fries, and I love rewatching it every time.

This film stands out as one of the best animated movies I have ever seen. If 'peak' were to exist as a concept, this film would undoubtedly be the prime example. It’s flawless in every aspect, nostalgia, character development, animation and truly represents the art of cinema at its finest.
