The Stepfather

I thought The Stepfather was one of my favorite movies. You just never know who you think you know

I liked the performances and the production, but the success of 'David' hinges on making everyone else behave as if they are fantastically stupid, which I find intolerable in a thriller.

I really liked the characters and actions of the actors

did not hate the movie but i did not like the cliff hanger ending

There's no way this guy would have gotten away with it all, he made too many mistakes.

Lacks credibility, especially the ending - watching this is not a good use of your time.

solid movie it passed the time and was quite entertaining. Tho it was okay horror wise I don't think it has any rewatchability

Now this is my favourite film along with Stepfather II from the Stepfather films. Dylan Walsh's performance, Nelson McCormick's direction and Charlie Clouser's score really impressed me, and I'm considering this an awesome remake to the original Stepfather film. The screenplay was good for me, but not the best. I'll give this film 5/5 stars and an "A" grade, the same grade I gave for Stepfather II. I recommend this film to fans of the Stepfather franchise!

Not amazing, but a solid horror flick. Better than most of the classics.

Not the best movie I have seen pretty predictable throughout acting was ok feels like Iv seen 100s of these kind of films overall 5/10
