- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsThis movie had a Lot of potential considering how good the first one was. But unfortunately it was poorly written and had hands down some of the stupidest characters to where it wasn't even funny. It made me want to scream and punch the characters. There was some reasonable suspension in certain areas such as one of the final scenes. But the final fight in the pool was dumb. They fell into the pool with a shot in the dark lame excuse for a fight scene. Ending badly. Considering the gory uptake it took witch I consider being ok it got gory more so than the first and I don't know how I feel about it. The characters were what made it bad. They where very very stupid in all situations such as going into the open. Going in houses and going after the noises then proceeding to get hurt or die. Twords the end the last one of the last surviving people makes smart choices but overall there not smart and make such stupid choices Including the decision of not killing people when they have the chance or leaving when they could've. The ending does leave two alive and the strangers dead. Both surviving people are badly injured and unknown if one survives because he is in a coma in the hospital. And then hearing the sound and knocks that the stranger makes on the hospital door then the credits roll. Don't watch this movie don't waste your time watch the original please that ones so much better.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsVery good slasher with memorable moments. The cinematography was excellent with some fantasic shots and scenery (the swimming pool scene is one to note). Although the Kinsley character was so unlikable in the start, plus the idea it takes place in a trailer park yet no one else is around is a bit strange unless the Strangers murdered everyone in the park before the family got there. The ending was definitely an homage to TCM. Very enjoyable.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsA film with such moronically unlikable characters that you will find yourself rooting for the killers.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsHonestly funny how bad it was.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsThis series should have just been one and done. Crazy they are making a 4th and 5th.
- Rating: 2.5 out of 5 starsA very surface level slasher movie that follows a specific formula without offering anything special when it comes to story, but due to an incredible cast, and good production, it is a watchable movie, enjoyable slasher. I love the first Strangers movie, and the first one also follows this slasher formula, but has enough extra stuff in the story that add substance to it. This one, not so much. That being said, I do recommend giving it a go, since it was better than I expected. It's not a bad movie, just nothing out of the ordinary. Thank you.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsThis movie is much more like a classic 80s slasher than its predecessor was, for better or worse. There are even several shot for shot references to the classics such as Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Scream. But with these influences, I believe it is much less scary that the first one (or at least the first half of the first one), and what remains is a Friday the 13th bloody action title. Again, some people may like this genre and aesthetic more, but I found it to be nothing special. In the mountain of horror movies, this one is very forgettable, but not a complete waste of time.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsThis movie was so awful, It made me create this account too warn you not to waste your time! Absolutely terrible! I wish I could give it zero stars.
- Rating: 2.5 out of 5 starsWhile on improvement over the original it still suffers from characters being either uninteresting or completely moronic
