The To Do List
audience Reviews
, 46% Audience Score- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsThe cast were great! But the story, its characters, and its ending don’t make sense when friends get mad at Aubrey’s character for being slutty. The second half ruined the movie with the worst characters ever! Blaming the main character for no reason.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWell paced and funny throughout,a must for rewatching.
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsA more than adequate comedy that's real sin for most people is probably having a female protagonist. The acting is mostly solid, minus the actor's who played the dad, and the duckie stand in. Plaza and Hader carry the film nicely, along with the actor's who play her best friends. It's messy due to all the sub plots and it's need to justify itself which, once again, is probably due to it having a female lead character. You get the feeling by the end of the film that if this had been just another raunchy comedy with male protagonists it could have been way more out of line and yet still more streamlined without the need to justify the actions of it's main character. Still though, it deserves some respect for being so bold with a female main character, even for it's time. All of that aside, it is funny enough and well made enough to justify a watch. You'll laugh quite a bit, and that's really all a comedy should have to accomplish.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsJust not a believable story. Mostly I didn't believe it because Aubrey can't pull off being the innocent teenager. She's acts like she's way too mature and experienced with sex at 28 years old.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsCharming and likely captures the difficulties of growing up female.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsA nivel comedia es buenísima, me reí hasta la ultima escena. La historia es medio floja pero lo compensa siendo entretenida y los mensajes que entrega también están bastante buenos. No esperaba nada y me sorprendió.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsAubrey Plaza never dissappoints you in comedy.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsIt's a Run of the Mill Teen Sex Comedy. Nothing you haven't seen before. The editing is bad. After the first 20 minutes sex stuff just kind of happens with no real progression until the end. This easily is a plot under an hour. Maybe even 45 minutes. This leads to subpar pacing, basic acting, and a somewhat decent soundtrack that has a good 90's vibe but isn't really memorable if that makes sense. The only real thing that stands out is Aubrey Plaza has some quirk moments in this but overall just forgettable. The cinematography is basic and nothing really memorable that hasn't been done before or slightly better. Unless your a die hard Aubrey Plaza fan skip this. There really isn't anything here that hasn't been done better a million times before.
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsAmazing cast & acting -- mediocre writing. Trite, simpleton story -- played well. Highly Recommended. Characters so well played, the story becomes almost believable.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsIf you aren't shocked by the sexuality, there isn't much there,
