So sweet, so adorable, I just threw up all over my television set.

Slight teen fare from the 60s starting Disney's IT girl Haley Mills. A clique of normal girls with normal problems try to survive a strict Catholic Boarding school run by Mother Superior Rosalind Russell. This is really a troubled teen and taskmaster teacher formula; see Blackboard Jungle; Goodbye Mr Tibbe; Dangerous Minds, etc. It's a softer, distaff version of those stories. And as such it's mildly entertaining; could use a little more punch though.

This movie made me cry and laugh and cry again. Wonderful acting by Ms Russell and Mills. It reminded me of a film that after watching it you wanted to join the sisterhood, it was that good. Many parts I enjoyed but the one I enjoyed the most was when the beautiful Logoria sister passed and how Russell cried over the coffin and especially how Mills reacted. That's when she was convinced that she would be a nun, beautiful

Pretty run of the Hayley Mills with some more adult themes like smoking. Interesting, but tedious and cheap. Saw on TCM.

I watched reruns of this when I was a kid, going to Catholic school, wishing life was more exciting. Who cares about the plot?

It's a sweet old movie. Somewhat around the idea that we are all good inside, we cannot judge a book by its cover, and children's rebellious behaviors are just temporary. An almost all female cast, and an interesting view into the life as a nun. A nice Saturday afternoon movie.
