audience Reviews
, 78% Audience Score- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsA very well documentary from the Deadly Joplin Tornado. A really well put film together and very emotional as well!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsImmersive, thrilling and frightening, this documentary very well shows the vulnerability of all us humans when confronted with the mighty force of nature.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsI found it very well paced and easy to watch, not a fan of this kind of docu but I liked it
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsAlexandra Lacey did a bad thing. She took a human piece and hung the whole 1-1/2 hour experience on an uncited statement before credits ran. If this is the result of climate change, make a documentary that has information to support that viewpoint. Intellectually lazy. And dishonest seeing as though it’s not part of the advertisement, I was part of a captured audience at that point.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsThis is a good documentary on a bad twister, but saying it was caused by global warming at the end to push a agenda really made me lose respect for the film.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI was compelled mid-viewing to write a review. How this doesn't have higher ratings is beyond me. These stories are so intense. I lost track of how many times my jaw dropped. Fantastic show!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI remember watching the series about Storm chasers a few years back and the storm that went through Joplin. So when I saw this was on Netflix I was anxious to see it. Seeing those first hand accounts and the devastating after effects really leaves an impression. It was tough to see some of the footage due to my own fear of tornadoes. The only thing I can say critically is I wish there were more eyewitness accounts thrown in. Regardless it was a fantastic documentary and my heart goes out to everyone in Joplin and all of those to assisted in the recovery and clean up. 🙏
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThis is a potential award winning documentary. Well directed and in the top 10 best documentaries I have ever seen on NETFLIX. It was heart pounding, emotional and engaging. I highly recommend.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsThis disaster documentary was really good. The entire crew did a fantastic job on telling this story and how intense and deadly it was for everyone who experienced it. If you haven't seen this documentary yet, check it out sometime. It's a definite must see.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsExcellent! Well done documentary (timeline wise) at taking the viewer through the beginning of the day (with clear, sunny skies) and progressing to what would become the most deadly/devastating tornado in the 21st. century.
