I kinda feel bad that this movie is a failure. For the ones who dont know why this is bad, its because its cliched and its mostly about Scott all the time. I actually didnt even seen this, but i DID see the trailer, though.

This movie was absolutely amazing with the way that they wrote the fathers drinking problems and how he fixed it so he could be with his family again was just incredible and how Austin was written with the way that his parents were trying to understand him when they didn’t even need to do that they just had see the world like he sees it and the small Christian undertones that it had ( which progressed to be bigger) was just amazing as well I feel that everyone needs more movies like this because it focuses on real life problems with a Christian undertone which a lot of people need right now

A must see movie!!! Being different does't mean being less than everyone else! I love this movie because it depicts how different each one of us not because of some disorder or illness, but, because each one of us have been given a mission to touch and inspire others to be better in accepting their differences, especially how the movie showed the reality of how parents deal with it. We should learn to accept how hard it is and learn how to persevere not just for your children but for us parents as well, and, to love each and everyone for their uniqueness!!! Absolute must-see 😍

An amazing story that breaks your heart and heals it at the same time. Austin is a true inspiration, and Jacob Laval portrayed him beautifully. I am so grateful I got to see this movie. I'll be watching it again whenever I need to be reminded of what kind of person I want to be.

While I am biased, as I grew up knowing this family, having even babysat Austin a few times and attending church with the Lerettes, I have to say how amazed I was with this movie adaptation. The book was very well written, getting to see it make its way to the best-sellers list was so impressive, and then hearing they wanted to turn it into a movie was incredible! There was quite a delay due to the pandemic, but once the official release happened, I was blown away with how they made the story come to life. Very humanizing and loveable approach to a real, loving family going through life with all its ups and downs. But it is definitely a weird thing to see, events that I actually remember happening in the past being put on display at a movie theater, haha. I'm so proud of Scott for how far this has gone, and I can't wait to see what happens next!

I have no idea why the critics don't like it. It was one of the most beautiful stories I've seen on TV, and it was so funny.

It's a little sad, but it's an encouraging story and the ending is totally worth it! The world needs more true stories like this to be told.

Even as just a regular movie, its pretty rough as its framed around the father struggling to have a special needs child, and has little to even say about the titular boy and his journey. But the fact that its Zachary Levi, a vaccine/autism truther, makes it unbearable in the worst ways.

To tell the story of Austin’s immense impact on people’s lives, they show it through his parents, mainly his dad’s struggles. It does a great job of showing the struggle of parenthood especially with a special needs child. It does a good job of showing what Austin really saw the world as in contrast to what his dad and others saw. It’s Austin’s beautiful perspective on life that allows his dad and others to find his meaning. Music choice was great, had good humor and sweet moments. Acting was really good! Nothing over the top but enough to immerse you in the story!
