Well-acted , but over-the-top melodrama.

Greed and power can corrupt anyone. This movie shows how power and fame can go to anyone's head. There are several different things going on in this movie showing how people react to different life decisions that impact not only themselves but others. I really enjoyed it.

This flick won all types of ABFF awards and acclaim. I wasnt impressed. The premise was good but the direction sucked. The whole thing seemed like a chitlin circuit stage play with overly dramatic performances. I think the story would have been better if the line between good and bad were more nuanced vs the clearly defined caricature of church villians we see here.
