The Warrior's Gate

Me pareció muy buena y con una trama que no había visto hasta el momento , la verdad la ví hace años y hoy que recordé está peli la volvi a ver y me sigue pareciendo muy buena .

Wow, this one took me by surprise and I am so glad I did not listen to all the wannabe critics on this one. This movie is very original, but at first glance, which is about all that most of the critical reviews gave this movie, it seems like a copycat of something like Karate Kid. IT IS DEFINITELY NOT. The problem is that it started off with a bike chase, so that was enough for most people to think copycat of Karate Kid. Never mind the fact that it was a far better action sequence than Karate Kid bike chase scene, but either way, the rest of the movie had a very different vibe and story line. Its funny, fast paced and most importantly, the chemistry bewteen the characters seemed real. It is made for pre-teens to young adults, but I think its one of those movies that any age can still watch and thoroughly enjoy. So many movies today just put out what they think the critics will approve of instead of what really works in the real world and that just destroys the chemistry between the actors. This movie is fantasy, but it perfectly conveys what it might feel like in real life between real friends, family and situations that of course won't happen in real life, but it still gives you a feeling that if it did, it feel just like this movie felt. Bottom line, if you like being entertained and want to feel good after seeing a movie...watch this one!

Que filminho chato, até mesmo para uma sessão da tarde despretensiosa, os personagens até que são fofinhos, o enredo absurdo, mas interessante, agora os diálogos sofríveis ou a tradução que pecou muito... Quase entediante, principalmente as partes das lutas, mal consegui vencer…

I have just seen this movie and liked it. Very good!!!!

I don't understand why this movie has a 5/10. It was funny; it had action. I enjoyed it. It was so much better than a lot of higher rating films I watched. It made me laugh so many times it was crazy! I just created an IMDb and rotten tomato account to put in my rating for this movie and try to change its score because I know it deserves so much more!

While not inventive as Luc Besson's (The Secret, The Source) other movies it's a good timewaster

This movie is exactly what you think it will be, a kind of "East meets West" teenage martial arts flick. It is definitely not as good as those in the Jackie Chan specter (like Forbidden Kingdom) but it does deliver a fraction of the cute lines and action. If you're looking for a cute, entertaining movie, then I recommend it.

It was interesting enough. Definately for a younger audience.
