Worth a watch certainly if you're in the mood for this specific vibe. Cage veterans will understand this movie from start to finish without even seeing it.

If you can appreciate a dark comedy, it’s one of the best, and one of my favorite movies now. Hilarious and profound.

A downbeat, introspective, slow-burn tale about a locally successful Chicago TV weatherman on the brink of national success while suffering the private circumstances inflicted from his failures as a Father, a Husband, and a Son. Nicolas Cage is in top form with flawless support from Michael Caine and others. This may not be your typical "feel-good" popcorn film, but deep wisdom is center-stage throughout and the movie's 2005 social commentary still hits the target today. I found this a satisfying, overlooked gem of a movie.

I really enjoyed this film. Just a man, trying to make his way through this thing called life. I like when movies dont really have a story but just take us through days in the life of. Just 2 hours of adulting and all the suckage that comes with it. I cant put my finger on exactly why this movie works... It just does.

I thought it was pretty good mainly because I like Nicholas Cage. It's worth the watch.

This is an adult movie and not a dumb comedy for 13 year old where Nicolas Cage freaks out even if he does it. It talks about a man that has to face about grief and the pain of divorce and in this stellar cast Nicolas Cage and Michael Caine shines in their roles

Not really sure where this movie was headed. Nick plays a guy who is pretty clueless about why his family has left him, why his father thinks he is a failure, why people throw garbage on him in the street. The only thing he is good at is in front of a TV camera. 50 years ago, that was all the father was supposed to do, bring home the bacon. Guess a lot of guys now wonder why the rules have changed.

Worth viewing just for it's more experimental structure, black comedy elements and balancing of tones.
