Fell asleep 3 times. Boring and unfunny, absolutely terrible script.

It was boring not interesting at all

A decent story but way too slow.

The Wedding Banquet is a 2025 American romantic comedy film directed by Andrew Ahn 💍 Not bad, but not my favourite either 😐 Meh, it passed the time. Just. 😐 👍🏼👎🏼 There are some good moments, but they are just not consistent enough and some parts are quite slow… Frustrated with his commitment-phobic boyfriend Chris and running out of time, Min makes a proposal: a green-card marriage with their friend Angela in exchange for her partner Lee's expensive IVF. Elopement plans are upended, however, when Min's grandmother surprises them with an extravagant Korean wedding banquet.

LOL, 1 hour and 43 minutes of comedy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

根老喜宴比，修改了很多，这一点倒还好。喜欢尹汝贞和陈冲的部分表演，但是讨厌这些年轻人的神经质，以及突如其来的和好和转折。再拍这个故事，的确是没法把它放在同婚合法的台湾语境里了，而身为韩裔的导演把它移植到保守的韩国环境里，多少也算说得过去。杨博文的身材居然没有特别差。

The Actors and Actresses had potential, but the pacing of the movie is kinda boring and predictable. Could've been better. Hope the cast got a better movie with better plot to do. Especially the main male couple, they have so much potential

A generous, gentle, funny and, finally, moving depiction of finding family and love. The performances are unuformly fine and the movie is thoughtful and entertaining.

It had its moments but too few and far between. Cast was very uneven especially the guys - Bowen Yang and Han Gi-chan. I sat there always knowing where the story was going and simply waiting for it to end
