The Wolf of Snow Hollow
audience Reviews
, 65% Audience Score- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsA new, smart, & fun take on the werewolf genre. It's got a Twin Peaks vibe to it.
- Rating: 2.5 out of 5 starsIt's trying to be funny, and sometimes is, and it's trying to be scary, and sometimes is, but the ending did not satisfy, except of course, for seeing the new sheriff in town. I found it awkward to watch our protagonist act like a 13-year-old, which was the point, but didn't make me happy as a viewer. I'm tip-toing around the solution to the mystery of the monster that's killing townsfolk, because I don't want to spoil it. All I will say here is the monster we see briefly at different parts of the movie is, as it turns out, impossible. I didn't believe it. I'm offended that that's the denoument.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThis movie is very carefully put together. Repeat views will reward with cool little details that show a consistent story being meticulously crafted.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsI'm a lover of all things werewolf. A lot of directors/productions have a hard time with werewolf movies because either the costume looks like a guy in a suit or the CGI looks like something from Nintendo 64. That being said I really liked this movie. Jim Cummings is hilarious. I've never seen anything with him in it before but his dry witty sense of humor is absolutely hysterical. The scary parts were scary and unsettling and the comedic parts were spot-on. I was laughing and jumping out of my skin. I think that they did a good job with the actual werewolf as well. I believe it was mostly CGI but there were some parts where they used someone in a suit but they didn't show a whole lot or just a brief glimpse or shot at an angle or was kept in shadow or behind a foggy window. Very believable creepy and ominous. This was a good movie I would definitely recommend giving it a watch especially if you're a fan of the werewolf/horror genre. This was fun to watch.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsForget the haters, brilliant movie, great characters…if you like ‘thanksgiving’ you will love this .
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsThe tone of this movie is just terrible..........it doesnt know whether or not it wants to be a drama, a comedy, a thriller.......this film was a memorable, but messy mess.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsabsolutely entertaining a couple of little down spots in it but overall I I love how they tread the line between comedy, horror supernatural and murder mystery all in once and they did it they did it pretty damn good
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsGood movie. I’d gladly recommend this film. I was surprised how good it was.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsThe main actress is so annoying Talking too much Fussy too much Movie is also comedy But most of the time annoying because of this character
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsJim Cummings wrote, directed, and starred in this surprisingly entertaining but ultimately unsatisfying film. But his performance as well as that of Robert Forster (in his penultimate film role) made this worthwhile for me.
