The Wrath of Becky

The Wrath of Becky is delightfully violent, very silly and a whole lot of fun.

The Wrath of Becky” delivers satisfying action, as this underestimated heroine makes some terrible people look like absolute fools.

The sequel revives the appealing hook of extravagantly annihilating racist scum, and even gives it a sharper edge.

“The Wrath of Becky” is entertaining enough. But perhaps inevitably, with its heroine grown to near-adulthood, the novelty is a bit dulled now.

The movie’s almost jokey treatment of its slobbering incels, combined with Becky’s comic posturings, hemorrhage the tension. Wilson, however, is consistently terrific, and deserves more thoughtful material.

A nonfat revenge bloodbath, with a running time under and lots of cheer-able moments.

Wilson remains a powerful presence as the wild-eyed dispenser of gory justice, although an epilogue hinting at where the franchise might go next stretches credulity to the limit.

Though the film is disappointing, it holds potential for the obvious third film they've set the character up for.
