The Year of Spectacular Men

wasn't sure what i was getting into at first, but i really enjoyed this movie. i am sure that it will be relegated to the 'chick flick' genre and brushed off, but it was funny and sweet and oddly relateable. i'd recommend it.

I thought it was a nice movie, nothing surprising but I didn't go into it thinking it would be. Solid acting from the cast, worth taking a look.

The acting is great and the dialog smart, the story is a bit uneven but it is a lot of fun. It is also wonderful to see the family together.

My sister in law and I watched it together tonight,.. we have so many questions. Why was the guys being interviewed for is my main one. Like what even happened. It was ok but not worth the time to watch it.

If you're a 20-something in a dysfunctional family, struggling to find purpose, and meandering through life, you'll be delighted by its over the top script.

This film is like a B-grade Greta Gerwig coming-of-adulthood movie. Or even a C-grade Sex and the City. Take your pick. Or skip it.

This was like a Hollywood checklist for cliche and predictable in 2010's movie. The movie felt like quota check list of characters in the movie. So stereotypical of today's politically correct fantasy films. Lea Thompson real life daughters in the movie are boring and unconvincing.

Really loved this movie - great to see a fresh female millennial voice and perspective. If you liked John Cusack's High Fidelity, you will like this movie.

Loved it! Great story of two sisters and their relationship with each other, their mom,and the world. And of course some (maybe kinda) spectacular men. Watch with a glass of wine and some girlfriends!
