I love it, light hearted and lots of funny moments. it brought a sense of nostalgia even though it was my first time watching it. I especially love the song "住在地球曬夕陽" very melodic 💛

Lovely classic Rom Com, there may be tropes, but the acting is great and the director doesn't miss a beat. Save it for a rainy day, a cozy blanket, and a perfect cup of coffee.

Great movie with a cool storyline. The lead actors did an awesome job.

Even if we know from the start how it will end, and even if the story is improbable (it's cinema after all), we never get bored. There is nothing to dismiss in my opinion and some scenes are even well above average like the one I call "Let's go out to avoid the rain".

A delightfully quirky romantic comedy. Formulaic but well done with engaging performances. It'll leave you with a smile on your face.

Decent acting with good cinematography, but it loses its charm when the story strays away from the food the focus turns to the romance between the main characters. The conflict and motivation follows a nonsensical pattern.

The title was exactly how I felt when I saw this film. I was mesmerized from the opening scene. It was charming story. And I disagree with the critic that thought they did not belong together. And the dog... The casting was perfect.

This is an entertaining rom-com mixed with a Bollywood movie mixed with tantalizingly well-imaged cuisine. The beats of this film are formulaic, right down to the rich boy loses talented girl, talented girl loses rich boy in sensitive montage and score. However this film is charming, the comedic timing spot on due to the two leads Takeshi Kaneshiro (as Lu Jin) , Dongyu Zhou (as Gu Sheng nan), the food presented and a very charismatic dog (a bull terrier called "Boss" who has no listing on IMDb). The dialogue (going by the subtitles and the actors' expressions) is quirky, the situations outrageous, but they made made me laugh. The ending is equally as staged, but again the two leads and Boss (the bull terrier) allow the viewer stay invested. Remain for the concluding credits, there is an extra scenes followed by beautifully shot international sunsets.
