Fairly bland with mediocre writing & direction, the movie is saved by great effects, sound/production design & acting.

    Probably the Best Thor Movie.

Thor: The Dark World achieves another epic space fantasy adventure on par with the first movie. At this point in the Marvel Cinematic Universe the tone is still generally gritty, with a good balance of action, drama, and humor that will eventually become a sparse treat as newer installments trend toward action comedy. Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman once again deliver with their roles, but in my opinion Tom Hiddleston's return performance as Loki is a particular standout for his phenomenal portrayal of the character's emotion and cunning.

I found the plot to be very boring and uninteresting, and the villain was definitely forgettable. However, it was still really fun to watch and had some incredible visuals. I definitely recommend it for superhero fans!

Uh ok so it was not as bad as I though everybody says but I didn’t really like it to be honest with you

Alright, Thor The Dark World, it’s like the middle child of the Thor flicks, kinda overlooked but honestly? Pretty chill. Chris Hemsworth is rocking the hammer and that godly charisma, while Tom Hiddleston’s Loki steals the show with his snarky vibes as usual. The whole dark elf thing with Malekith (Christopher Eccleston) is a bit of a snooze, he’s all grim and mumbly, but the movie picks up when it’s just Thor and Loki bantering their way through space. The Earth bits with Natalie Portman’s Jane are cute, if you’re into astrophysics meets Asgardian romance. Visually, it’s got some cool, moody cosmic flair, and the action’s solid, nothing groundbreaking, but it’s a good time. Plus, that wild ending with Loki pulling a fast one? Chef’s kiss. It’s not the flashiest MCU joint, but it’s got heart, humor, and enough sibling chaos to keep you grinning. Underrated hangout material for a lazy movie night!

Ok, this one of my least favorite Marvel movies. (If not my least favorite.) The villain was so dumb, and everything about this was dumb. lol was the only good thing about it.

I enjoyed it, despite majority consensus. In fact, my fave Thor. Ties worlds and lives nicely together and gives much more information on the whole topic of the story.

The actors acted, the writers wrote a script, the CGI is there, and the movie was made. I have one positive being that Thor and Loki have great scenes together and grow in their relationship and one negative being Malekith and the Dark Eves being one of the worst villains ever in a comic book movie. Everything else just exists, not bad, not good. This movie is the definition of mid. 5/10
