Ticket to Paradise has a wonderful charm among the cast who work well in the film and have a perfect look.

Barely a movie at all. Too bad…. Clooney and Roberts could have been a stick of dynamite together but this hardly qualifies as a firecracker. Dolphins were nice.

The reason this movie was awful is that their daughter, Lily, is engaged to a man she just met. Her parents, who made the same poor decision in the past, should have tried to talk her out of it. Instead of discussing their concerns with Gebe, who proposed to her, they both chose to do something foolish and sabotage the wedding.

Ignore the critics. They’re wrong about this movie. It’s delightful from start to finish.

A Ticket to Paradise turned out to be a ticket to mind-numbing boredom, with a script completely tone-deaf and culturally blind to where the film was set. I find it telling what films an actor chooses at the end of his/her career. Some continue with interesting scripts and strong performances - while others show themselves in a poor light, likely for the money - or the location. Here we have a sad & somewhat revealing choice by Clooney & Roberts. I had to rate this .5 stars but wish I could have gone lower.

If you can't find anything else to do, this could kill some time; but, nothing about this movie gripped me. All i could think about was how nice it would be to go on a vacation to a warm and sunny place!

I am not sure what disgusts me more, the fact that Bali is reduced to a “Hollywood” backdrop, making it a hollow caricature (not even worthy of a close caption translation of its rituals that thankfully remain in Balinese), or the disappointing lackluster performances of 2 former stars, cementing their status as have-beens. But I’m sure that at least the film crew & execs had a blast during the location shooting...

It's just so predictable, with none of the charm that allows me to accept boring storylines in other films. The director seemed unable to linger on one shot for more than a second, and the overuse of drones just made me feel so disconnected from the characters.
