Great acting, but story just didn't get there for me.

A rare work of truth and beauty.

It's decent but it totally doesn't belong at the top of the RT Spanish horror list, as it's not actually a horror. It's barely a fairy tale. Not sure what it is tbh

This facinating film about the connection between crime and childhood grabs your attention and never lets go. The only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars is that the lighting was bad so I had to depend on Wikipedia to understand what was happening for some important scenes.

The Guillermo del Toro influence here is obvious but Issa López finds a way to give the story a sense of modern urgency. We don't need to reach too far into the past to find ghosts.

I loved this. It reminded me of the resilience of children and how powerful human imagination can be for helping us through terrible experiences. The child actors were incredibly talented and the animations so original.

It's a horror movie that symbolizes the real horror of slums in Latin America.

Beautiful and touching story. Had me bawling my eyes out by the end.

A movie dedicated to the orphaned children victims of the Mexican drug cartels. A gang of kids possess a powerful weapon to escape the claws of the criminals who murdered their parents: three magical wishes. "Tigers Are Not Afraid" blends fantasy and real life drama in such a way it will melt viewers' hearts. Even the master Guillermo Del Toro surrendered to the beauty of this touching movie!
