Time Freak

I love the concept of time travel. It's fascinating to think about what you would do and how it would impact your future self if you changed a couple things. I thought this movie was entertaining and a fun watch. Highly recommend

it has a good idea and tries to be innovative, but little by little it gets lost and wastes what could be an excellent story, in the last act it seems that we are watching another completely different movie. On the other hand, the main actors are fine and really convince, unlike most of the co-stars.

I so wanted to like this film more than I did. ASA Butterfield and Sophie Turner are real favourites of mine for Sex Education and Thrones. But although their performances were fine along with. Most of the cast, the plot was disappointing, ultimately a bit sinister and nasty. This is not a patch on that wonderful time travel movie About Time

Esta película de comedia dramática tiene sus encantos con el elenco agradable que tiene y cuenta una historia que no se toma mucho en serio, con un concepto de viaje en el tiempo que tampoco lo hace. La trama es simple, pero entretenida en gran parte de la película ya que en mi opinión en su ultima media hora me aburrió un poco. Tanto Asa Butterfield como Sophie Turner hacen muy buenas actuaciones y Skyler Gisondo me parece que es el que más se destaca, quien es el alivio cómico y con una personalidad tonta. En conclusión, una regular película con algunos momentos bastante divertidos y una trama que no se toma para nada en serio pero que en su mayoría, entretiene. La recomiendo.

Do yourself a favor -- go into this movie blind, like I did. I didn't know what to expect except that it's some kind of rom-com with time travel, and I was pleasantly surprised. But if you insist on knowing more... the writer/director did an amazing job of finding some unique beats in a genre that's been well-mined. The love story is strong, and the buddy story is great as well. Which brings me to Skylar -- aka Evan. He stole the show. He was supposed to be the comic relief, but he was really the heart of the show. Without him, this movie would have been a "meh." But because of Skylar's amazing comedic timing and his ability to be real and relatable, he forced me to rate this movie higher than I normally would have. Asa as Stilman was fine, and his love interest, Sophie Turner as Debbie was adequate. The strength of the screenplay and Skylar's performance were what kept the story engaging and enjoyable. If I had a time machine and could go back to this film's pre-production, I would insist they find two better actors for the leads... some who have some on-screen chemistry, and a female lead that can sing. But I'd keep Skylar Gisondo as Evan -- and maybe even make his character arc a little tighter. Congrats to Andrew Bowler on a smart and funny time travel Rom-Com. It's not as amazing as Palm Springs, but it deserves to be mentioned as a peer.

In my opinion this film is very sweet and beautiful, at times even funny and keeps you glued to the screen always teaching you a valuable lesson. In my opinion it is almost essential to watch this film if you are looking for something quiet and not busy that still wants to teach something.

Cute if it wasn't devastated by a morally obscene ending and if in 2004 the first "The Butterfly Effect" had not been produced with a far superior rigor and drama. (Mauro Lanari)

For a movie about a whiny worthless nerd that manages to invent a time-shifting machine just to maintain a pathetic excuse for a relationship. I say time-shifting instead of time travel because they maintain the same body when they travel. This also uses multi-verse or branching 4th dimensional travel theory. I.e. they can alter the timeline. So there's that. This movie wars inside of me with how good it is vs all the little things there are to critique in a time shifting story. I don't even like the characters all that much: it's more the situations they're in and how they use the time-machine to deal with the problems. Ultimately if you like time-travel or relationship drama, then this is probably a movie for you. If nothing else it's written well with good actors. I enjoyed the movie, if for the wrong reasons and will likely watch it again.

Easy to follow, thoroughly comedic, and with a good dynamic between the actors/actresses. Also, Skyler Gisondo is a personal fave of mine with the ability to make pretty much anything hilarious.

Great movie.I think they underrated this film.
