Really liked the retro vibe, also the plot twist toward the end. I greatly appreciate nuanced female protagonists, and so even though the sci-fi end of things felt just a little underdeveloped and the tone was a bit uneven at times with oddly placed contemporary pish-posh, the story overall resonated with me.

An absolute waste of time. The movie is supposed to be sci-fi, around the virus and the cure for it. Instead, it's about the relationship of two people. The music and lighting takes away from the movie too, like having someone play music while you're at the movie theater. Waste of time.

The first half, though slow, was mysterious and riveting. The second half is a hackneyed "revenge on cheating boyfriend" story with random scifi coating. If it stopped at part 1, I would have been content. Part 2 basically ruined it for me.

Kind of a pile of turds... You keep hoping for some grand reveal, or some way to make sense of the movie, but that never comes. Just a bunch of infected people trapped inside some kind of underground facility that transforms infected people into robots that dispose of infected people. While I am sure it couldn't possibly be the actual plot, it feels like the lead actress basically caused the destruction of human life by being jealous of her cheating boyfriend. In the end, they all get what they had coming... Which is death and suffering.

Plot moved at glacial speed. Trite themes were blatantly expressed in dialogue. I Didnt love any one character because they were all despicable at some point. The movie wasn't terrible enough to stop watching, but I didn't feel any pay off for finishing it. It gets a little credit for originality but the execution left a lot to be desired

Highly creative. Noir scifi. Revenge among the spurned nerds. Lots of fascinating slime. What's not to like?

    What did I just watch?!

This movie made my skin crawl in the best way. With compelling performances from the entire cast, I felt just as trapped as the protagonist. I was deeply immersed in the experience, and found the visuals, narrative, and score captivating. An impactful work of speculative horror.
