Tomb Raider

Solid but unspectacular. A little underwhelming considering how good the video game is, but certainly worth the watch for fans and even people who never played the game. It doesn’t follow the story of the game exactly, but there are some very cool callbacks to the game. The actress who played Lara is pretty good, but the rest of the cast is forgettable. Not a bad movie, but could’ve been better.

3 minutes and it's already scrap, frankly, it's worse than disappointing. I don't even want to develop it, it's so bad and miles away from the original support. this film shouldn't be called tomb raider, nor Lara Croft.

I really liked it. Vicander was great and overall enjoyable watch.

Everything about this film and take on the franchise is underrated. Alicia Vikander as Lara Croft is totally underrated. This adaptation was down and dirty, rugged, brutal, intense and more real than the last films ( or as real as you can get with Tomb Raider). Way better than those Angelina Jolie films. You're certainly not getting her fighting big robots in her huge mansion and other over the top silliness in this film. I'm so disappointed they didn't continue to make more with Alicia Vikander. She was totally Lara Croft.

Thought it was another cheap action movie, but was gladly surprised when I found an underdog story, with a very personal motive, emotionally fitting performances, strong character connections and intelligent acting. I thoroughly enjoyed this one. Don't get it why the reviews are so bad. I mean, yeah some cliches here and there, but characters are very well developed for an action flick.

Angelina who? All kidding aside, this is tomb raider. I absolutely love the fact that they made this realistic. They took away all the nonsense, and what we are left with is a good ol' action/adventure movie. I would put this up there with the likes of Indiana jones. This movie is clearly a prequel, an origin story of the character we all know and love. The ending, leaving you wanting more. It was the perfect setup for a long line of movies…that were never made. Hopefully someday soon we will see Alicia, back in action as this beloved character.
