Tron: Legacy

So underrated. One of my favorites, have watched it probably a dozen times.

Tron: Legacy is a technical marvel and a buzzy popcorn action flick from Disney. Garret Hedlund is a more than capable leading man as Sam Flynn, the son of Jeff Bridges’ character. For fans of the original Tron, this is indeed a true legacy sequel that builds upon the already existing lore without being a sequel of direct action, but rather decades later. There’s plenty of action to be had, as Disney parades one upgrade after another across the screen, showing off the true power of some excellent CGI design. The story is better than average, if not exactly full of surprises, but instead punctuated by some superb directing choices. If you’re a fan of action or techno sci-fi, then don’t miss Disney’s Tron: Legacy!

good story, brilliant visual effects and absolutely fantastic music!

The plot is very basic and predictable. But, who cares. The visuals are great, the soundtrack is amazing, and it's just a downright cool movie 😎. I will say, the bigger the TV and the better the sound system, the more enjoyable this movie becomes.

This movie deserves more love. Well put together, with some great cinematography, and an amazing score. It's a go to for me from time to time.

5 stars purely for the soundtrack

Great to look at, but boring. There nothing fresh or original about the story. It is a snorefest. A lot of money went to special effects and nothing to writers evidently. It's an estranged father son tale full of cliches.
