Tyler Perry's A Madea Christmas
audience Reviews
, 70% Audience Score- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsHilarious Christmas film. Witty, irreverent, and very on point for the season.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsAlmost every Christmas season this movie will pop into my head to watch. I start watching it with a 'muh, I've seen this a million times before feeling', but after just a few minutes I am hysterically laughing and rewinding Madea's hillarous takes and one liners. Like all Madea movies, you can't go into it with a serious frame of mind. This is meant to be a feel good movie while also bringing up basic societal and cultural issues in a lighthearted and easily explainable way; which apparently isn't enough for the majority of 'professional' reviewers. Remember, it's a comedy/drama with a feel-good ending and not meant to be groundbreaking or movie of the year. Definitely worth a watch during the Christmas season!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI loved it. I laughed and cried like on all Madea Movies. I don't understand all these critics
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsFunny and meaningful Christmas movie. Good life lessons as well
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsNot my favorite Madea movie but Larry the Cable Guy was funnier than I expected. Him & Tyler Perry had surprisingly good chemistry!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsNot only is Madea quick with her wit, but in this movie it also deals with prejudice and misunderstandings, not to mention a pompous Mother who thinks she is always right and her narcissistic personality.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsA great film about interracial marriage and family. One of my new favorite Christmas movies. Tyler Perry hits a home run.
- Rating: 2.5 out of 5 starsI would just like to say first off, that I don't know where that 25 million dollar budget went. This movie looks terrible and is acted poorly. In fact, I've seen better made Lifetime films. That said, this was one of the funniest movies I've seen all year. Tyler and Larry bounce off each so well, and even Kathy does a stand up job. While this movie has A LOT of flaws, it sure does make up for some with it's outstanding jokes and charming leads. Also, imagine bringing politics into a review about a Madea movie. A MADEA MOVIE! Lol, I could never.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsMadea had a few funny lines, but the movie itself wasn't very good.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsJust seen this for the first time, say what you want about Tyler Perry and films, he nails his comedy just right and this film is a seasonal great.
