Valiant One

I started watching Valiant one with high hopes of excellent cinematography, well thought out story line and a ride worth my time. The title and camera did not disappoint. But things started falling apart from the moment Selby decided to diss her superior in the fine spirit of "I can because I am a strong independent woman". then Mr. silicone valley decided to give himself up (I thought the intelligence of silicone valley folks was misrepresented...or are they just plain dumb? I mean it takes brains to survive their and its no brainer that you don't want to fall into the hands of your mortal enemies). Then the farmer and his wife.....clean, impoverished, shampooed ponytail and plump bodied people with a nice setup of farm house and truck not to mention a gramophone..........screaming government cadre or bigger. and they sat with their "Yankee aggressors" in peace eating candy bars and trying to hide the medic Shelby. as if this unrealistic poppycock wasn't enough, they hop on the truck and head on only to get caught in a second. you'd think fake Korean dad didn't even have a pistol at the ready in case he gets pulled out. so many disgusting things done for the convenience of continuation of story. Them spraying bullets like the armory was just around the bend not thinkin of resupplying makes you think that this was a movie made for simpletons who just want to see bullets fly without a brain cell working. Its pros though, they did have a nice camera at work. some shots were good.

Falsely advertised as based on a true story.

So it gets a little bump for being loosely based on a true story.

Stop putting these tiktok netflix actors in action films. It is so cringe.

I found it thoroughly entertaining with a believable cast and great editing cuts.

This movie is ok. There is enough action in it to hold one's attention. Don't expect a captivating story line or glorious action scenes that you will think about for years, though. Watch it if there aren't any other movies out that are doing for you. Definitely don't put it at the head of the class.

Script writers should be shot. Could be the worst movie I've ever seen. Every scene defied normal human logic and reasoning. Truly a painful watch on par with a tubi fast and furious rip off.
