Vampire's Kiss
audience Reviews
, 54% Audience Score- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsNic Cage being Nic Cage in a very 80's goofy movie
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsCage fans will find a lot to appreciate about his completely insane performance that borders on Kabuki acting in its hyper expression. Setting aside a fascinating performance from one of Hollywood's most unique actors, this film drags, has a weak score, shows some very bad 80s camera work and is completely forgettable. Then again, describing a Nic Cage movie without his performance is like summarizing Halloween without Michael Myers. He's pretty much the entire point of the movie. Again, if you're not a big Cage fan, save yourself 90 mins of late 80s generic filmmaking. Otherwise grab the popcorn, you're in for an unforgettable treat!!
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsConfusing unwatchable movie. Waste of 2 hours you will never get back. Dickless Cage is his usual manic self. Is this a psychological thriller or just a plotless piece of trash?
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsSo… what the actual f*** did I just watch? There is a really good reason this movie is memed to oblivion that’s for sure!
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsStrange, thought provoking, and entertainingly squeamish story of descent into madness. Main reason to watch is Nicolas Cages acting in those iconic scenes. Some of the attitudes, language a little dated. Liked Renfield better.
- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsOne of my favorite movies. It's really dramatic and creepy and touching and even pretty funny, but definitely not a comedy; it should have never been marketed that way. More like a bizarre psychological study of how work and sex addiction courts madness.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsGood funny movie Can't believe this was the prequel to renfield
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsCampy Nic Cage perfection. You have to go into it knowing it’s over the top and appreciate that bizarre lunacy. Cracks me up every time.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsCage should have won an Oscar for his performance.
- Rating: 2.5 out of 5 stars5/10. 55/100. | One of the only performances where you can say it's both really good and really bad. 😅
