We Live in Time

I was immersed in the movie’s touching storyline.

A bittersweet love story that demonstrates resilience. Florence Pugh was magnetic in this role.

The movie was a bit difficult to get into the start as it is quite fragmented. But after a while, I appreciate how it is like our memories, episodic, without seeing connection. And yet, there is a story progression in the scene fragments. For me because of the need to put it all together inside of my head, it does take me out of the emotional immersion. In that way I was negatively impacted by the structure of the film. The acting and onscreen chemistry and fun made the film worth the watch. The story was satisfying enough. Although due to the episodic structure, story development and character motivations are not as flushed out for my personal preference. It's worth the watch although not ever would appreciate the episodic format. If you want a film where you can turn off your mind, this is NOT it. But if you can get into it, it is the wholesome. The ending was good and lingers for a while.

Time line bounces all over which makes the movie hard to follow. It had some sweet moments and the acting was pretty good but the movie just wasn't great. The trailer was better than the movie.

Tobias is too good of a person in contrast to Almut. The whole plot relies on a sympathetic portrayal of Almut, so the uneven relationship was distracting.

The only thing that works in this movie are the performances by Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh. Everything else doesn't. It should've been opted for a TV movie or Netflix film instead, because shares similar vibes to those kinds of movies.

It was a great movie, until the non-ending. Though a bit hard to follow timeline-wise, it was well acted and interesting. However, stopping short of resolution, like so many movies these days, made me feel like I wasted two hours of time.

Can't believe 2 big marvel stars were in this film I kinda do want to see a Romantic chemistry between Andrew and Florence in the MCU but I doubt it

Borrrrrrrrrrring! I Fell asleep. All this with me having the biggest crush on Florence Pugh and watching everything she's in.

Good Sad movie. Easy to see both sides of the coin in this one which I enjoy.
