It's not quite as terrible as a Hangover sequel, but then very few things in life are.

The jagged narrative and heavy-handed manner of delivering dialogue, much more risible and tasteless than the original, ruins it.

It's not funny that able-minded humans spend 150 minutes demonstrating to us what a LSD-fueled midlife crisis would look like.

Welcome Back is sporadically funny, one that ebbs and flows; but it just about passes the "guilty pleasure" test thanks to Kapoor and Patekar.

Burdened with a convoluted plot and stale humour, it might well outstay its welcome in cinemas.

Nothing that this nonsensical action comedy unleashes, not even the in-form Anil Kapoor-Nana Patekar pair, can compensate for its absence of substance.

Welcome Back is funny in parts, but that Welcome fluidity is missing big time.

Watch the film if you like cornball comedies. It's a pure massy, masala entertainer that's good to go on a lazy weekend.

It's a ham fest that is comparable to brain dead cinema of yore. The saving grace is, some smart one-liners and heartfelt performances.

Some of it is knee-slapping fun, some of it tedious, and much of it disposable.
