Wes Is Dying

What's with these official reviews? Are these critics on drugs (clearly not the fun kind)? This movie was a blast! I guess I shouldn't be surprised that critics are incapable of having fun or a sense of humor. Not everything has to be so serious. Sometimes it's ok to just have a good time joking around with your buds. In a time when everyone is taking themselves too seriously, I was grateful to spend a little time having some major laughs. I loved this movie and will be watching it again soon!

Wes is Dying is very meta, very fun, very genuine! Some people say this is a "Covid" movie may have missed the point, it just takes place during the time but is done well and the overall story is one of love and friendship. Definitely one of my favorites of the year so far. Fun and easy watch! :)

Funny to relive all the silly Covid/quarantine stuff. Good pacing as well with a great third act.

Fun, meta, creative buddy comedy…recommend to anyone who's in the industry. And hilarious cameos!

Always Sunny meets a heartfelt indie. This is what friendship is all about!

Beautifully shot and acted, heartfelt and most important- funny. It's rare to see a film where the lead actors who are suppose to be "best friends" actually feel like it. There's so much chemistry it's impossible to watch not feel like you're best friends with these guys. The story moves with no fat to be found… funny sequence after funny sequence in a plot that felt fresh. I haven't quite seen a film like this before. Go check it out!
