Where the Crawdads Sing
audience Reviews
, 96% Audience Score- Rating: 2.5 out of 5 starsÉ um filme bom...
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsA surprising courtroom drama that never reveals too much as the story in the swamp unravels.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsKya is a little girl that is left to leave with his alcoholic and abusive father , after his dad’s passing she’s forced to fend by herself living in the marsh pits of NC. She will encounter love deception and a suspect of a young man’s murder. The whole movie. Almost the most movie. Is Hallmark romance cheesy drama but it finishes really good. 🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿/5 on Hulu
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI watched Where the Crawdads Sing not knowing what to expect, and it really touched me. The story of Kya, a girl left alone to survive in the marsh, was emotional and powerful. Daisy Edgar-Jones did an amazing job—her acting felt so real and natural. The film is slow in a good way—it gives you time to feel everything. The scenery is beautiful, and the music fits perfectly. It’s not just a love story or a mystery, it’s about loneliness, nature, and strength. I didn’t read the book, but the movie still made a big impact on me. Simple, quiet, and very moving. One of those films that stays in your mind even after it’s over. At the end I had tears in my eyes, if this movie was able to do that it's the best thing.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsGuys, it was awesome. Every dad wants their daughter to be like this ............. ........... Phenomenal film
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsA sanitised version for sure, compared to the grittier novel on which it is based, but beautifully filmed and the gorgeous marsh landscapes offset the more improbable elements of a gentle film that is more love story than courtroom drama. The critics have lost the beauty of this movie in their over-analytical rush to condemn.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsGreat movie 🎬, you really don't get it until the last scene
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI was prepared to be disappointed with Hollywood's re-writing of the book. It was definitely different. But this movie proved that the same story can be told well two different ways. Great acting, beautiful cinematography, and a well written script not to mention the excellent casting. Sorry critics... you missed the mark on this one by a 1000 miles. Better stop looking for goofy artsy social statements and see the gentle story.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsReal simple….great movie with great acting and a super ending. A must.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsA refreshing, but predictable story line saved by warm performances that don't need to show too much skin or too much violence, so adults can actually watch this with their teenagers.
