, 64% Audience Score- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsJane (Lucy Hale) and Will (Nat Wolff) are strangers and guests at a wedding. She almost has drunken sex with him before he stops her. They start to talk about their past relationships. My initial superficial take is that Will needs to be hunkier. It would help especially since his character pulls so many beautiful women. After that initial thought, my next hot take is that this is trying to be Before Sunrise. Again, this would benefit from an Ethan Hawke like actor. The main difference is the many flashbacks. I both like them and have issues with them. I would like Will to have fewer women and concentrate on setting up the final reveal. Juliet should be his first 'girlfriend' story and then the last flashback should be a repeat of the same story with the truth revealed. At the end of the day, I really like the attempt even if it's not completely successful.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsAn intriguing concept—one that could have been deeply engaging—but unfortunately, it falls flat in execution. The acting felt inauthentic, as if the characters were merely reciting lines rather than embodying real people. The set design, too, had a staged, almost sitcom-like quality, which took away from any emotional depth the story might have had. One of the most baffling aspects was how every woman the protagonist encountered was impossibly gorgeous, making the entire premise feel unrealistic and overly polished. It lacked the rawness and complexity that would have made the story feel genuine. I have no doubt the book offered more depth, nuance, and emotional resonance than what translated on screen.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsPainfully weak script.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsActing was good. Script was boring and predictable
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsCan two people be brought together through one chance meeting? Nat Wolff and Lucy Hale co-star in a romantic comedy/drama They both play two young people Jane and Will that attend a friends wedding and almost hookup in a closet But Will wants more than a fling although Jane is taken aback by this They each over the course of the day share their romantic encounters before meeting one another They’ve both had their share of messy breakups; one girl cheated, one guy suffered a death in the family, one older woman has been through so many guys being judgemental etc. Jane and Will gain a better understanding of each other Hale and Wolff such such palpable chemistry together You get hurt the most by those who couldn’t possibly hurt you, the minute things get too real we bail, can some people help it if they fall for damaged people?, comittment is tough if two people can’t be straightforward to one another, we are all afraid of failing and being a hopeless case, conversations don’t have to end we can talk and talk to tell our own stories Love is hard but it’s interesting to think that you have to go through so many rough patches to find that semblance of happyness in order to find someone who can see you truly Even two partners can be messy and heal each other willing to try again after opening up Hale and Wolff work together wonderfully and I really liked the ending as this emotional journey worked remarkably
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsUnbelievably boring and these two have no chemistry and the plot sucks. Wish I could get that hour and a half of my life back
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsWatched it for Lucy Hale. Kept finding myself zoning out while trying to watch.. was so uninteresting & yawn inducing. Also I found it weird they're trying to play off the main guy as attractive.
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsOnly watched as I am a Lucy Hale fan. It's nothing special but not a trainwreck either. Romance movies are a dying breed now days so you've got to enjoy what you are given.
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsPleasant enough fluff but nothing more. I'll forget it in a few years as nothing is particularly memorable. Plus point is that I'll also not remember anything bad about it. For that it's worth your time if you like romance movies plus the poorstate of movies in general.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsDisgusting movie! Very explicit sex scenes again and again. It's a porn film! Don't see this film! IT'S TRASH❗😡
