Schmaltzy and cheesy and silly. The music wasn't even that good.

This film is just Christmas magic. It’s a bit slow in parts during the dance numbers where you can tell they’re showing off the “Vista Vision” and do nothing to push the story forward, but Danny Kaye and Bing Crosby’s chemistry is 10/10 and the story makes your eyes sweaty by the end. It’s a fantastic feel good Xmas story!

I watch this movie every Christmas, but its never been offered on the big screen before. Loved it.

This movie exemplifies the golden age of cinema. In the vastness of human expression you’ll not find such dynamic depths and soaring high kicks. It’s got more hutzpah than dame popping out of a new years cake! And nobody takes the cake like classic duo Bing and Danny! Hoy woo yew wowza yowza!

    Beyond corn. Way beyond!

For someone who isn't a musical person this was kindof a surprise hit for me. The dancing in the Mandy song was quite impressive and super glam/flashy. This was also actually very funny at times. The sweetness/sentimentality is a little lost on someone like me but I found it to be "heartwarming" none the less. I think like many it was impossibly frustrating to see the housekeeper Emma throw a wrench in the lead's romance, but all's well that end's well.

I thought I'd give this a watch, with it being Xmas and all. Yep, it's sweet and sentimental but it's actually good fun. Entertaining!

Ok but not great Christmas film.

Is it corny? Yes. Is it totally unrealistic? Yes. Is it still absolutely wonderful? Yes. The greatest Christmas movie of all time.
