Wild Wild West

If you have arachnophobia just a heads up this movie has a lot of spider references. This film is like a cross between Phantasm and Blazing Saddles. This is not your typical Western. This film is a Sci-Fi, western, comedy. Kevin Kline is witty and fun to watch. Will Smith is pretty awesome in this movie. Wild wild West is definitely unpredictable. It's highly imaginative. The comedic scenes are beyond LOL. If you're a fan of Will Smith or Kevin Kline you will love this movie.

I don't get the hate for this movie. It's a blast. Off the walls and a bit odd but that's what makes it so fun.

The giant spider movie that only exists because Kevin Smith didn't want to make the first one. It was never going to win any awards BUT I think it cops more hate than it deserves because it's the cool thing to hate on this film. It got some chuckles out of me and as a popcorn flick it was mildly entertaining. I went into this film fully prepared to hate it but I don't. It's definitely not the greatest thing on the planet but it's not the worst either.

Very poor remake of solid tv show. Actors stink. "Special" effects are terrible and unconvincing.

The film makes it seem like a 5-year-old wrote the screenplay and directed the film.

This movie is a great example of style over substance. The dialogue is insufferable, the characters are unlikable, the comedy is unbearable, and the plot is the bare minimum. Basically, anything to do with the writing is a negative when it comes to this film. The performances, while given nothing positive to work with, don't help the film either, especially when it comes to this film's villain. The only positives I could give this film is its soundtrack and its steampunk aesthetics, but there is way better media out there if you are looking for something similar. My advice: Head east and stay away from the Wild Wild West.
