This movie is super boring. Not recommended at all. I at least liked the villain, he was cool. But this is just a super boring movie to watch. Animation is okay, villain is good, but do not watch this.

Finally got the privilege to watch thanks to Disney+ and I’m so very grateful & amazed at/for this film + the cast, animators & Disney. A century in the making, that was worth it. For me, this magical, creative, beautiful & historical legacy was able to be created in a way that makes you believe. Wishing upon a star may seem childish but, wishes are eternally yours! So dream & wish big, cause you never know when that star will come your way. (The amount of magic this story has told has; in my opinion, enough to warrant the future of Disney Storytelling for a while! So many possibilities, dreams, wishes & magical moments to come.)

It's a kids film aimed at kids. My 3 and 4 year old love it. There are pretentious reviews trying to raise people's attention up but it serves no purpose. It is watched in our house at least twice a week. To the haters ask your kids what they think (if you have them). As an adult it's not terrible but the music did seem to influence Moana 2 which is a shame as Moana 1 had it nailed already.

I think the story is so so, and the musical lyrics show it. However, the actual songs are better sounding than any disney movie other than the Frozens, Beauty and the Beast, Encanto, and The Lion King. The songs are really good.

it was creative, i’ll give it that. but get ready for a full on rant if your interested. there are 3 main issues with this movie and it bugs me so badly. 1st issue, the songs. they feel so poorly written, and the lyrics are just.. not catchy at all. what is ‘and throw caution to every warning sign’ supposed to mean? poor attempts at songs, and could’ve been done so much better. 2nd issue, the characters. the talking animal goat is annoying, and his sole purpose to be on screen is to make the babies laugh. nothing more. asha is also kinda annoying and bland. who am i kidding, all the characters in this movie have so many flaws to me and it just makes my experience unenjoyable. 3rd issue, the villain. king magnifico could’ve been so much better, and he had a ton of potential. but they kinda threw it out the window and just make him bland. his song also could’ve been good, but again, the lyrics. he wasn’t really even pure evil in the first place, it was just the dark green magic or whatever possessing him. what is he even going to accomplish by stealing all the wishes? also his ‘power’ is just chaining people to the ground. really? overall a disappointment for Disney’s 100th anniversary movie.

The references were cute but this movie was huge and not in a positive way it was a little confusing a little and the songs didn’t really seem to give that Disney touch and it felt a little rushed and I would only recommend this to younger audiences.
