Gillian Welch

Gillian Welch brought her musical talents to a variety of films over the course of her Hollywood career. She appeared in a number of television specials, including "Celebrating the Hitmakers II" (The Nashville Network, 1998-99) and "Manilow Country" (The Nashville Network, 1999-2000). She also acted in various film roles at the time, appearing in the crime drama "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" (2000) with George Clooney. Welch also contributed music to the drama "Ulee's Gold" (1997) with Peter Fonda. In the early 2000s, Welch devoted her time to various credits, such as "Down From the Mountain" (2001), "The 44th Annual Grammy Awards" (CBS, 2001-02) and "Soundstage" (2002-08). She also worked on "The Good Girl" (2002) starring Jennifer Aniston. Welch's music was also featured in the comedic drama "The Astronaut Farmer" (2007) with Billy Bob Thornton and the Liv Tyler thrilling mystery "The Strangers" (2008). Most recently, Welch worked on "Another Day, Another Time: Celebrating The Music Of "Inside Llewyn Davis"" (Showtime, 2013-14).
