Kevin Biegel

Although best known as the co-creator of "Cougar Town" (ABC, 2009-12; TBS, 2013-15) and "Enlisted" (Fox 2014), Kevin Biegel had to struggle for several years before landing his first TV writing gig on "Scrubs" (NBC/ABC, 2001-2010) in 2006. Biegel also served as story editor and co-producer on the medical comedy, thus launching what would prove to be a long and prosperous career in television. After he left "Scrubs" in 2009, Biegel went on to co-create the Courteney Cox sitcom "Cougar Town," before debuting the military comedy "Enlisted" on the Fox network in 2014. He may have had to scratch and claw his way into a career in television, but by the mid-2010s Kevin Biegel proved he had the stamina to manage two network comedies simultaneously.
